What a crazy time it is around the world. In this hectic and uncertain time, everyone at Meigs Jewelry wants to assure our jewelry family that we are here for you. We want to maintain some sense of normalcy in all of this craziness.
In order to keep up with the norm here at Meigs, ‘Sara Styles’ is here again and ready to show off some jewelry! This week I’m showcasing Tat2 Jewelry Designs!
Many of you remember Tat2 creator, Briana, when she was here in the store a couple years ago.
She brought sooooo many pieces from her line that we had a special event, just to showcase her jewelry. We had customers from our area and even those that traveled from out of town come see what new and exciting pieces we had in the store. Getting to meet the designer was a plus!
We had these 'designer' cookies from Sugar Mountain Baking Co. that were almost too pretty to eat. Don't get me wrong though, they definitely got eaten:)
She brought tons of fabulous pieces from her line. Many of which were here for that day and that day only. She was here with her husband and they were so much fun to hang out with. That LA girl really knew how to make herself at home with this small town jewelry store family.
So let’s get into Briana’s inspiration and how she makes her jewelry stand out.
Tat2 jewelry is so different that other lines we carry. The antique finishes and design elements that Briana uses stand out and are very personal to her. She uses lots of coins in her designs. In fact, the coins are her signature accent. You can see them throughout all of her collections. She has collected coins from their native regions from areas across the globe. Besides coins, Briana also uses 24k gold, gunmetal, sterling silver plating, pewter and brass in her designs along with crystals, cubic zirconia and custom cut, semi-precious stones. Her talent in design is amazing!

In this week’s ‘Sara Styles’ I pair one of my own Tat2 necklaces, along with some of my other favorite pieces from this designer line.
My favorite, that I loved so much I bought it, is this silver plated long necklace. It’s actually one of the most popular necklaces we’ve had, especially with the ladies here at Meigs. Off the top of my head, I know of 4, maybe 5, of us that ordered one when we first got them in. The long simple style of the chain necklace is very easy to wear, but the pave crystals that are on alternating stations on the chain give it the perfect sparkle.
Since this necklace is so long, it gives you the choice to wear alone or with another necklace like I did.
The other, shorter necklace, paired perfectly with my longer one. They were perfect for layering! I love how my navy shirt enhances the goldtone parts of each piece. I feel like the blue color really brings out the gold and silver colors and finishes of this jewelry.

Tat2 jewelry is so versatile. The finishes, the two tone colors, the different lengths of chains, all contribute to making this line so easy to wear. I mean, look how easy it is to dress up a plain white t-shirt with a couple coin necklaces! I love it!!
**No lie, those necklaces with that white shirt and black leather jacket....one of my fave looks ever!
So I've been talking about the necklaces so much but I didn't forget about the other pieces.
The nail head bracelet was a very popular piece when Briana was here. In fact, we didn't even have any in our stock until we saw how much our customers liked them. The good thing about this piece is that it comes in multiple stone and metal colors.
So I I know this is a Tat2 'Sara Styles' but these goldtone earrings are not Tat2. They are from another line we carry called Canoe Jewelry. They are $39 and well worth it. They are super lightweight and with the simple yet elegant style, they can be worn with any of your gold or two tone jewelry. I love how the gold pairs so well with the Tat2 pieces.
Now the band. This two tone fashion band is a little thicker than most but it is very comfortable. Keep in mind that Tat2 custom makes all of their jewelry so if you need something in a special size or length, it will take a little longer than usual because it would have to be hand crafted.
