Meigs Jewelry opened in 1960 as a family owned and operated, full-service jewelry store. Our goal was to serve Tahlequah and Northeastern Oklahoma with quality jewelry and excelllent customer service. Premier customer service has always been our primary goal.

In 1986, Al and Phyllis Mutzig, long time Tahlequah residents, purchased the jewelry store. Their continued goal of excellence laid the groundwork for the Meigs Jewelry of today.

In January of 1998 their son and his wife, Todd and Paula Mutzig, the present owners, purchased the store. They have devoted themseves to making Meigs Jewelry one of the finest stores in the state of Oklahoma.

It was soon obvious that Meigs Jewelry was going to have to make another move. It had simply outgrown the existing location. The decision was made to purchase a large corner building on the historic Court House Square and totally renovate the building into a hallmark establishment. Meigs Jewelry now has over 8500 square feet to better serve you. We have the ambiance of yesteryear and a flair for modern style.

We have built a solid reputation over the past 45 years as knowledgeable jewelers with an enormous selection of equisite jewelry and fierce commitment to customer satisfaction.
